Figspeed West Coast Classic at Fontana, Calif.

In round 6, Richard McFarland used a .009 package to beat Dave Meziere, Thomas Bayer stopped Kyle Rizzoli, and Randy Kersey defeated Ted Kellner's Top Sportsman Firebird. McFarland, a Las Vegas K&N Spring Fling winner, advanced when Bayer went red by .002 and Kersey got a bye into the final.

 

Kersey's '95 Cutlass took the win and the Racepak check for $5,000 with his .035 margin victory over the Pontiac dragster of McFarland.

 

Round six of the Lucas Oil Pro eliminator saw Tony Marconi of Surprise, Ariz., defeat Stan Deming of Nampa, Idaho, while Spring Fling winner Tommy Dutcher beat Marana, Ariz., racer Joe Kidd.

In the final, Dutcher added another big win to his '15 resume when Marconi drew a .004 red-light.

Jeff LaSalle, the 2014 NHRA Pacific Division ET Racer of the Year, drove his '67 Dodge Coronet to a final round win in the Meziere Pro Shootout, stopping Sigman, Ariz., racer Cody Webber in the final round. LaSalle used a 6.571 (6.57 eighth-mile index) for the win as Webber broke-out.
